Sue
Sue, a friend of ours, is from Kitchener. This is her first visit to Wakami Lake Provincial Park. Since the park does not have electrical sites, it is not a park her husband John and her would choose to visit, but when travelling with a group of friends, it was worth a try. They chose a secluded waterfront site and made the most of it. The heatwave we were suffering through kept us all in the cool water several times a day.

Rita and David
Rita and David live in Mississauga and have been camping a month every year at Wakami Lake Provincial Park for 13 years. David loves that he feels connected to nature here living with a simple routine. They fish daily and visit with other long time campers. No other park has given them the same enjoyment. I met David here on my first visit five years ago. He gave me some helpful tips about using solar power while camping.
