This is our second stay at Ivanhoe Lake Provincial Park. We camped two nights during the 2020 Covid summer when all facilities, short of outhouses, were closed. This time the park is less busy and facilities are open. Sites are large and never far from the lake.

Kelly
Kelly, my wife, is seen here admiring the forest. We walked the old park road past Saw Lake. You can complete a loop of this road from your site in about 1.5 hours. The route is flat, virtually vehicle free, and open enough to discourage mosquitoes. For those that venture out, watch for an island oasis, complete with a short boardwalk and a bench, compliments of the Friends of Ivanhoe Lake Park.
