Donna is from Winnipeg, travelling with her husband Herb on the Inishfree Irish Music Tour. She is a retired high school sex education teacher and guidance counsellor. Reminiscing about the awkwardness of high school students, Donna shared that she recently had minor surgery and that her surgeon was a former student. He went on to tell the nurse that this patient taught him everything he knows about sex.

Bríd was born and raised on Inisheer Island. She and her family operate the Seaweed Cafe during tourist season, selling sandwiches, baked goodies, and warm drinks. She said there is a stable population living here year round. At some points in the year, their fresh water reservoirs run low so water needs to be brought to the island by boat. Bríd, short for Brighid or Brídgette, was wearing a Camino de Santiago T-shirt which caught my eye. She has walked Camino Frances.

Karen and Sindi, friends from Colorado, USA, have participated in four Inishfree Irish Music Tours. Three of their four tours have been with David Francey as the musical host. Inishfree tours offers tours with a wide variety of musicians. It must be interesting to observe the group dynamics in different groups based on their musical tastes. Karen and Sindi have collected a good selection of souvenirs during the tour. They love all things Irish.
