Today we walked through many scenic coastal villages separated by steep creek valleys running to the ocean. Mercedes, last night’s host put us on to tonight’s accommodations. We are staying in Villademoros at Casa Carin Tourist Apartments. They offered an off season deal for pilgrims – 20 Euros each. Mark, Shelagh and I shared a two bedroom apartment. We cooked a pasta dinner and visited with fellow pilgrims. It was very nice.
Elena is from Soto de Luina. She operates La Reguera, the albergue where we stayed last night. I took her portrait just before we left at 8 am.
