This was a rainy day with rewards. I was now staying at my Sister-in-law’s cottage on Colpoys Bay with Daniel, another thruhiker I met in Collingwood and had been crossing paths with since then. I also had a friend, Brien, who was going to shuttle us to and from the cottage for the next four days to simplify accommodations. We were rewarded for walking in the rain when we came upon Fish Guys Fish and Chip Trailer on the trail in Cape Croker. Barb cooked and her husband caught the fish. On this day she had Whitefish and Lake Trout. Daniel and I shared an order of fries under the tent.
