This evening we are in a farm house with a beautiful view of the valley we climbed out of this afternoon. It is called Albergue Caserio Pozueta and is run by a family near Alto de Morga. There are chickens checking out my feet as a type. Tonight we will have our fourth pilgrim meal. It is so much fun sitting and chatting with people from all over the world. Tonight the USA, Canada, Germany , Spain, Slovakia, India, and Hungary are represented

This friendly woman was the waitress and bartender at the Bar Del Norte where we stopped for lunch. Many restaurants offer “pilgrim menu” lunch. Three courses with lots of options for 11 euros. I had salad, fish, and ice cream. Mark had pasta, a hamburger and fries, and ice cream. The food was excellent but too much before having to climb. Lesson learned.
